In brief
- The forms on the site send the data you enter to the MerchantRevive server over a secure connection. We use it to reply to your enquiry.
- The request goes to MerchantRevive staff: to the email audit@merchantrevive.com and to an internal work chat in Telegram. If you provided an email address, we will send a confirmation that the request has been received.
- For the first contact the store address and the text of the Google notification are enough. Passwords, two-factor authentication codes, payment data and documents should not be sent.
- MerchantRevive does not sell personal data and does not use it for behavioral advertising.
Who processes the data
Website operator: MerchantRevive. Contact for data processing matters: audit@merchantrevive.com.
The legal name of the contractor and payment details are stated in the commercial proposal, invoice or contract before any paid work begins.
Which data we may receive
The data depends on the request and the chosen service:
- name, email address and any other contact the user provides;
- the store domain, country of operation, platform and product category;
- the text of the Google notification, the known account history and a description of actions already taken;
- details of the form submission: the page it was sent from, the referral source and UTM tags, the site language, the browser and device type, and the time zone;
- materials the user voluntarily provides after agreeing the scope of work;
- correspondence and information necessary to prepare a proposal or perform a contract.
The server or hosting provider may record technical request logs: IP address, date and time, page address, browser type and error information. This data is needed to deliver pages, for diagnostics and to protect the website.
Why and on what basis we process data
Data is used to respond to a request, assess a task, prepare a proposal, agree and perform a service, conduct business correspondence, protect the website and comply with mandatory legal requirements.
Where the GDPR applies, the basis may be taking steps at the user's request before entering into a contract, performance of a contract, a legitimate interest in protecting the service and conducting business communication, consent for certain optional actions, or a legal obligation.
Who may have access to the data
Access is given only to suppliers and specialists who need the information to do their work: the hosting provider, the email service, technical contractors and consultants. The scope of access is limited by their task and contractual obligations.
Telegram is used for internal notifications about new requests: the content of the request and information about its source are sent to it. Access to the work chat is limited to MerchantRevive staff and contractors.
Some suppliers may process data outside the user's country. In that case the transfer and protection mechanisms provided by law apply. MerchantRevive may disclose information to a public authority if the applicable law requires it.
How long we keep data
A request is stored for as long as needed to respond and agree the task. Project materials and correspondence may be kept for the duration of the work, mandatory accounting or tax record-keeping and the period necessary to defend legal claims.
When the purpose of processing ends and the law does not require further storage, the data is deleted or anonymized.
Your rights
Where the applicable law provides the relevant right, the user may request access to data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability or object to processing. Consent may be withdrawn without affecting the lawfulness of actions taken before withdrawal.
To make a request, write to audit@merchantrevive.com. MerchantRevive may ask for reasonable proof of identity. The user is also entitled to contact the competent data protection supervisory authority.
Security and data you should not send
MerchantRevive restricts access to working materials and uses technical and organizational measures proportionate to the nature of the data. No method of transmission and storage eliminates risk completely.
Do not send passwords, backup codes, two-factor authentication codes, bank card data or documents unrelated to the task in your first email. Necessary access and a secure way to share it are agreed separately.
